For most of us millenials, Khwaja Mere Khwaja was our first exposure to Sufi music, and will always be iconic. Yet another A. 7. Sham from Aisha
Sham takes us straight to a campfire, toasting smores, huddling under a blanket and gazing into the stars. It’s beautiful. Composed by Amit Trivedi, it is the perfect melody to soothe your stressed out mind.
8. Khaabon Ke Parinday from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
We’ve all gazed out of a moving window and waved our hands with the wind while listeing to Khaabon Ke Parinday (don’t even try to deny it). Mohit Chauhan and especially Alyssa Mendonsa add an ethereal voice to the song and automatically our nerves are calmer and hearts are happier. Farhan Akhtar may be a good director and actor, but he is a great singer, and Tum Ho Toh may just be the best song he’s ever sung. Even the Arjun Rampal version was beautiful.
