Brand new web series you can binge watch all weekend on Prime Video and Netflix

The weekend is here! That means you won’t have to punch into work’s attendance or answer calls from your boss. Even if you do, you can always play the guilt card; who works on a weekend? If you’re excited to do nothing other than to sit back in your sofa and stare at your laptop, and never get up, we have the perfect list for you.

Here are some web series that are releasing this weekend, that you absolutely must catch.

Time Enna Boss

Time Enna Boss looks like a hilarious, no-brainer Tamil sitcom. The premise of the show is that an average IT guy’s entire life is changed when his home is bombarded with time travelers; people from different time zones accidentally drop in. It’s a comedy of errors, a recipe for disastrous fun. Present day Chennai is about to change with all these folks from different eras. Definitely watch this show if you’re looking for something stress-free and laidback.

The Social Dilemma

Although this released last weekend, The Social Dilemma is a poignant documentary series that you absolutely must watch, if you haven’t already. Tech experts sound the alarm on the dangerous human impact of social networking. It explores things about social media that you never knew before, uncovering hidden secrets along the way. Watch this if you’re in the mood for an eye-opener. Also, something educational.

Peep Time

This Japanese comedy will be out TOMORROW, and looks quite promising. It’s about Shinichi Toneli (Shingo Katori), a clumsy man who has no idea that his neighbours have been spying on him through a peephole. His clumsy behaviour in apartment 301 provides entertainment to his 302 neighbour Jiro and his daughter Akane (Chihiro Yamamoto). Watch this unique comedy to take your mind off of stressful things.

Bad Boy Billionaires

Although Bad Boy Billionaires came out two weeks ago, I still recommend it because of its plotline. An investigative docu-series that uncovers the empires of India’s ultra-rich, built on corruption, greed and fraud, this series explores the fraught lives of people who are still wanted:  Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi, Subrata Roy and Ramalinga Raju. Watch it to learn about the glories and pitfalls of capitalism, and how the people on the top exploit the people at the bottom.
